Meet Dr. Rebekah Newcomb (Orlando, FL)

Rebekah Newcomb, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated summa cum laude with Highest Honors and earned a Bachelor of Science in Vision Sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Newcomb has been practicing optometry since 2025 and is focused on providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include dry eye care, glaucoma treatment, and LASIK co-management.

Dr. Newcomb's passion for optometry began after witnessing the life-changing impact of vision care during humanitarian eye care trips to underserved communities in El Salvador. Those experiences inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to improving quality of life through vision care. She is known for her compassionate, detail-oriented approach and enjoys building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients while helping them achieve their best vision and eye health. During optometry school, she was an active member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence and serving others.

Outside the office, Dr. Newcomb enjoys spending time with her husband, being involved in her church community, traveling, and visiting theme parks. She is CLS CPR certified, welcomes patients of all ages, and is accepting new patients for in-person appointments.
